Cells, what kind of form will they grow into? What kind of appearance will a life form take? This unknown and blurry state attracts infinite curiosity and imagination, and people envision the changes it will undergo. This exhibition, "Embracing Live/life: Multiple Perspectives on Beings" presents seven artists from the National Cheng Kung University M.A. IN TECHNOLOGY (TECHNO ART). Through the process of exploring origins, reflecting on creations, and exhibiting and communicating, as well as every moment of facing the ambiguity and clarity, self-breakthroughs, and growth of creation, the exhibition showcases the diverse perspectives of life forms.
"Embracing" can be interpreted as the devouring of artistic cells or the inclusive freedom of the vastness. Similarly, "Live/life" has a dual meaning, representing both the life currently being broadcast and the artistic discovery of life forms that comes from living.
The seven young artists in this exhibition will examine life and the world from different perspectives, discovering different elements and appearances of life forms through various observation angles, including microscopic plants, human body interactions, sound and color, women, and the metaverse. They will then create seven completely different artistic works.
Through the seven different elements of techno artworks, this exhibition hopes to nourish these cells, gradually shaping them into exclusive and dynamic life forms in the field of southern technology and art.
Organizer: National Cheng Kung University Art Center, National Cheng Kung University Department of Architecture Master of Arts in Technology (TECHNO ART)
