The Concept of Design

The artist creates a concrete form from colorless water. The irregular wave shape resembles patterns, which appear on water’s surface when a gentle breeze blows. Looking down from the campus building above, the surface of this piece reflects the gorgeous sky. Looking up from below this piece, one can see their reflection in the lush grass. Rays of sunlight that hit the ground form an engaging maze along with poles, which resemble falling rain. This creates a diverse space with various mirror images and fluctuations in light and shadow.
